Yoga

Is your child anxious, and easily distracted? Does your child struggle to remain regulated when experiencing big emotions? Does your child have difficulty with gross motor tasks?

Thera+Kids offers yoga and mindfulness services for children, parents, and families. We incorporate yoga-based movement and mindfulness practices with literacy, art, music, and social and emotional learning competencies that focus on strengthening four quadrants of human development: physical/body, cognition and thinking, social emotional learning, and awareness and sensory modulation.

We also offer social-yoga mindfulness groups to develop social cognition, social-communication competencies, confidence, motivation, body awareness and memory. Using mindfulness, group members add to their “tool box” of strategies to help build self regulation.
