Olivia Gross

MEd., MHSc., SLP Reg. CASLPO

Speech-Language Pathologist

Background: Olivia Gross is a Speech-Language Pathologist registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She graduated from the University of Toronto in 2021 with a Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Olivia also holds a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology and Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.

She has supported children within a variety of settings, including schools, in homes, and private practice. Olivia values being a part of a multidisciplinary team and is passionate about collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals to best support children in achieving their individualized language and communication goals. She is committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming care that is playful, client-centred, and evidence-based.

 

Additional Training: Hanen® certification workshops for the It Takes Two to Talk and More Than Words programs; Orton-Gillingham: Practical Linguistics© (Part 1); currently working towards completing the Meaningful Speech course; a course on Gestalt Language Processors, as well as the AAC for Gestalt Language Processors course. Also, in the process of completing the Social Thinking course for early learners.

 

Special Interests: Social communication, social cognition, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), early language development/intervention and receptive/expressive language delays.
