Parent Talk Series: Train the Brain: An Introduction to Mindfulness
Do you ever feel like your thoughts and emotions are like a runaway train? This continuing education workshop is perfect for teachers, parents, yogis and other leaders. In this relaxing, yet informative and fun, workshop we will:
- Learn research-based methods to practice peace of mind, presence, and compassion in any circumstance.
- Discuss how our bodies and brains work in relationship to the evidence of the benefits of practicing.
- Discover our own preferred styles, techniques, and other factors toward creating a personalized practice.
