Academic Testing & Therapy

Psycho-educational evaluation provides information to enhance your child’s educational experience.

The evaluation reveals how your child learns best, and provides insight into how your child processes information, and handles tasks. Your child’s academic achievement skills, and all domains of intellectual functioning, are assessed and reviewed. Other areas that may be included are attention and executive functioning such as planning, organizing, managing time, and materials, attention and concentration.

The evaluation includes a thorough, user-friendly report that documents your child’s diagnosis and offers recommendations. Upon completion, Iris will meet with parents to review the results of the evaluation, discuss the diagnosis, and make recommendations for home and school.

We offer preschool screenings. Our psycho-educational evaluations, and admission testing for schools include administration of the WISC-V and WPPSI-IV.

Additional academic therapies include:

  • Handwriting Without Tears (pre-k – 5th grade)
  • Math therapy (pre-k – 2nd grade)
  • Executive functioning therapy to empower students with skills and strategies important for learning
